Steve serves as the President and CEO of To Every Tribe, located in Los Fresnos, TX. To Every Tribe exists to recruit, train and send church planting teams to plant churches among the unreached people groups in complex areas of the world.

Steve has always had a heart for equipping the saints and training leaders to serve God and find their place in the mission. He has participated in church planting in the United States and internationally, as well as served as the pastor of Petersburg Bible Church from 1997 to 2003.

Steve found out about Petersburg from his wife Heather, whose father served as a missionary in Petersburg working at KRSA radio. Heather spent her high school and college years in Petersburg. They both have a deep love and affection for the town and for Petersburg Bible Church. 

Currently, Steve and Heather invest their lives into training missionary teams, developing strategies to reach the unreached, and writing training materials to equip leaders in the United States and abroad. He is the author of several books, including the "Layman’s Bible Commentary," "The Bible in World History," and "The Illustrated Guide to Bible Battles."

Steve and Heather have four children, Anna, Amber, Alyssa and Andrew, and are learning how to transition to their new life as empty nesters.
